EXHIBITION: KEVIN BERLIN'S "Sex, Cellphones, & Late Nights" Paintings Are Featured At RVS FINE ART In Southampton. (631) 283-8546 Kevin Berlin's recent paintings "Sex, Cellphones, & Late Nights" will be featured at RVS Fine Art in Southampton, this Summer from June 20-July 4. Opening reception June 24th, 6-8 pm. Berlin's large canvases reflect his observations of downtown nightlife--bodyguards, bartenders, and women in little black dresses drinking martinis. Berlin discovers the unexpected in his revealing look at everyday life. Featured canvases include, "The Best Friends," "The Emperor's New Clothes," "The Bartender's Dream," and "The Bastard, I'll Kill Him." Recent bronze sculpture by Kevin Berlin will also be unveiled including the full length figure entitled "The Little Black Dress." Some of Berlin's commissioned works are found in the collections of Kim Basinger, David Letterman and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton. Recently in Southampton, Berlin's 3000 pound bronze "Colossal Sunflower" was 'planted' in the garden of Henry Buhl, noted art collector and founder of the SoHo and Tribeca Partnerships. Berlin resides in SoHo, where his studio was recently featured in Japan on Tokyo Television's "Morning Satellite" program. |
